| This stereo does look very oem in my 08 Sierra Crewcab. Also as a note to future buyers of this radio. You have to cut out a piece of the plastic behind the radio, the cables on the radio will not fit unless you do. Also this stereo has green lights behind the buttons and not Blue you wouldnt really notice it if it is not your vehicle but I know on all gm's the buttons, and illuminations are Blue. Next, thing is you have to mount the included antenna for the gps some where, but i just placed it over my vin number in the windsheild and I always pick up atleast 10 sat. at all times, I have yet to see no gps signal on it. Now the bluetooth feature is nice, but, I actually wired my on-star mic to it because the built in one picks up all of the road sounds, and the fan of the ac/heater when it is on. so it makes it hard to hear if your on the other line. I give it the 3 stars because 1 I had to cut my truck up to get it in. 2 Had to modify the mic. and 3. Because the buttons are Fords green and not GM's blue. If I had to purchase again, I would probably just buy a Kenwood or Alpine or somthing for an easyier install. But I love the factory OEM look, so this was right for me. |

If you want to fix this in your car you must remove the original plug and connect the wires of the system directly.
Also the light is green not same of the original (blue).
There are other not (OEM) but it's near of that. |

| I bought the unit on EBAY and the unit looks like the real deal but is NOT! I paid 75.00 to have it hooked up and 10 minutes after the unit was hooked up the nav. stoped working.I payed another 75.00 to have this thing taken out and the computer board stoped working for the nav. I sent the unit back and learned not to buy on ebay and start buying from amazon! This unit shouldnt even be sold to the public because if u have problems u have to call for support and the people dont know whats going on to begin with!! Save ur money and buy a name brand unit and u wont have to bother with any problems.This unit sells for 500.00 on ebay and this unit was bought from ca. and had a mexican cd in it,BUYERS BEWARE the units are all used and refurbished!!! |
